Fire Service Training for young people

This training studies what to do in the event of a fire. The trainig is designed to give more general information linking into the fire safety policy / procedures and is aimed at all staff, particularly new employees / volunteers in the workplace.

This training will help the students to discover how fire occurs ; act safely, confidently and effectively in a fire situation ; have a better awareness of the threat posed by fire to people, property or business ; know what to do in the event of a fire / suspected fire.

The basic aims of the training are to help young people choose a career path within fire and emergency services and to challenge them to become responsible citizens of their communities and country.

The training covers the following topics:

  • Fire Safety and prevention training for staff / managerial staff ;
  • Health and Safety Training for staff / managerial staff ;
  • Basics in First Aid ;
  • Safety at work in a high place ;
  • Fire Service Training for drivers ;
  • Preparation of documents for Fire Safety and Safety and Health .

Fire Service Training for young people is encouraged and supported by the Home Office.
